Brand Guide
Hemut is next-generation truck management software that automates back-office operations for trucking companies. It handles AI-powered inbound and outbound calls, document processing to reduce manual data entry, load sourcing, automated accounting, and more. The design challenge was positioning a genuinely technical product inside an industry that has historically been skeptical of software promises. The brand needed to feel like it was built by people who understand trucking, not just by another SaaS team.
The brand identity was built around three core elements: a bold black and Sunglow Yellow color palette, a sharp angular logo mark that reads as motion and efficiency, and Clash Grotesk as the primary typeface. The visual language was applied across logo lockup variants for different contexts, vehicle livery, print collateral, and digital placements. The branding blueprint documented every usage rule, color code, and typographic pairing to ensure consistency across the full range of touchpoints.
The result is a brand that carries weight in the environments where Hemut operates: on the side of a truck, in a pitch deck, and across a web product. It signals that the software is serious without losing the directness that resonates with operators running on tight margins.
